The XYL granted the budget approval for acquiring a Fanvil X5U-R 🙂 , a variant of the X5U model in an appealing red color. This choice was driven by ongoing projects involving SIP phones such as HamVoip and Hamshack Hotline. The Fanvil X5U-R not only serves as a Hamshack Hotline and HamVoip phone, but also has additional capabilities beyond standard SIP phones, including the ability to perform functions like get and post on HTTP/HTTPS :).
Subsequently, our attention was drawn to the Linkvil W712, a SIP to Analogue/DMR device also manufactured by Fanvil, initiating an exciting quest/hunt to get one.
